Dear lord, the lady is flawless!  Here we have Miss Kate Moss for Lonchamp's Spring 2011 ad campaign, and I see one major flaw with these advertisements.  The problem is, I don't care one little bit about the product!  Not that I have anything against Longchamp bags, they're beautifully well-made and iconic, and I love my "le pliage".  It's just that Kate looks so darn gorgeous here, and the styling is just so good {I mean, can we talk about that green dress?  Can you say "KY Derby"?}  

On a different note, I hope everyone had a wonderful valentine's day, but now that it's over, let's try to remember how important it is to tell those we care for how amazing they are on all the other days of the year!  It's then that those sweet nothings and terms of endearment mean the most!

Leather King, A Selby Film

Shaken, Not Stirred

Sorry for the cliche title, but I have a thing for martinis, so it seemed apropos.  I love 007 films, and of course that means that not only do I have a favorite Bond, (Connery, duh), but I have a couple of favorite Bond Girls.  First on the list is the lovely Claudine Auger, who played Domino in Thunderball.  She was the epitome of 60's sex-bomb in that film, and how great is that lace body suit à la current American Apparel?  In a close second is Jane Seymour, who played Solitaire in Live and Let Die.  She is such a natural beauty in this film, so much so that it almost helps me forget those dresses she wore in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.

Ok, I guess it's time to just come out with it.  My name is Rachel and I am a Lindsay Lohan fan.  I know, I can feel you judging me as you read, and I don't blame you.  But remember when she was all semi-innocent and beautiful, like in the pictures above?  I think I still try to hold on to that version of Lindsay.

Topshop Unique darling Margaux Lonnberg has the most fascinatingly simple tattoos I have ever seen.  It's as if she was just doodling on her skin with a ball point pen and decided a more permanent version would be preferable.  While I do think she needs a brownie or two, I think her look is utterly unique and intriguing.  Check out her blog "The Killing Moon" here.  On a more personal note, I have slept for only 4 of the last 48 hours, so despite the early hour I am about to go pass out!  Sweet dreams, loves!

Who Do I Think I Am?

About fifty percent of the time I think I am Leigh Lezark.  To me she is an icon in her own right, but to me anyone who owns their vampire pale skin and dark hair is an icon.  Included in that fifty percent is probably Violet from The Incredibles.  When the movie first came out I saw it with a group of friends who insisted that the character was the cartoon embodiment of myself, invisibility not included. 

Teenage Beauty Queen

I officially declare today "It Girl Day"!  Yep, who knew I had that kind of power?  In honor of this important day I felt it was only appropriate to feature one of my favorite It Girls, Miss Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor.  Atlanta is the daughter of photographer Amanda de Cadenet and John Taylor of Duran Duran, and at only 17 has already caught the eye of famed hipster party photographer The Cobrasnake.  With her effortless hippie flare and uncanny resemblance to fashionista Rachel Bilson, how could you not love her?

Whitney Sudler-Smith's documentary "Ultrasuede: In Search of Halston" explores the life and career of legendary designer Roy Halston Frowick, who's designs embodied the very glitz and glamour of the 1970s Studio 54 era.
